Greeley High School Car Crash: Vehicle Crashes Through Front Doors
On Thursday, January 22nd, officers from the Greeley Pollice Departmentreport that a vehicle drive through the front doors of University High School on 18th street, traveled down the hallway, and then crashed at the end of the corridor.

No Injuries Reported in Greeley School Accident
Luckily, all of the school activities had already ended for the day the building was empty, and no one was hurt.
University High School Classes Resume After Vehicle Damage
After the damage was assessed, officials deemed the school structurally sound, so classes were able to go on as planned on Friday.
Suspect Eduardo Perez Arrested After Alleged Drunk Driving Incident at Greeley School
Greeley Police officials confirmed that the driver was a 28-year-old man named Eduardo Perez. He suffered minor injuries and was taken into custody, officials say.
Charges Filed Against Eduardo Perez Following School Crash
Perez is now facing multiple misdemeanor charges including:
- Misdemeanor reckless driving
- Misdemeanor driving a vehicle with a revoked license
- Felony driving a vehicle while under the influence (4th offense)
- Two felony counts of criminal mischief
- Misdemeanor interference with staff, faculty or students
- Multiple misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.
The GPD confirm that this was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the school or the community.
