GREELEY, Colo. (KDVR) — New details are emerging after a pickup truck crashed straight through the front of a Greeley high school, narrowly missing staff members who were inside the building at the time.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX31, the crash happened at University High School, where a truck drove through the front doors, shattering glass and tearing through the entryway before continuing deep inside the building.

Newly released video from inside the school shows the damage left behind. When officers arrived, they found the truck sitting in a hallway surrounded by debris, broken glass, and damaged walls.
The affidavit reveals four staff members were inside the school at the time. Three janitors and a color guard coach.
Two janitors working near the front entrance told police they had to jump out of the way, ducking into a bathroom as the truck barreled down the hallway.
“No one to our knowledge was right in the direct path,” said Dennis Lobato, University High School security. “Although there were people here and there in the vicinity. It was something that could have been a lot worse for sure.”…
