Larimer County sees highest property sales in over a decade in 2025

Two of Larimer County’s highest property sales ever were recorded in 2025, according to public sales data.

Both sales happened within two months of each other last spring and summer, starting with the $155,495,000 purchase of Estes Park’s legendary Stanley Hotel on May 15, 2025, followed by the $132,200,000 sale of the 420-unit Railway Flats apartment community in Loveland’s Centerra in July, according to the Larimer County Assessor’s Office.

The sale of The Stanley Hotel broke the county’s previous decade-old record — when Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust paid $128,250,000 for Fort Collins’ Front Range Village in September 2014, according to past Coloradoan reporting and county sales data dating back to the early 1900s.
