2 ejected, killed in crash after eluding Larimer County deputies

DENVER (KDVR) — Two men are dead after a crash following an early Sunday morning pursuit with Larimer County deputies, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

The pursuit started when a deputy noticed a vehicle missing lights and without a license plate at around 4:15 a.m. near East 57th Street and North Garfield Avenue in Loveland. The deputy tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver turned off all the vehicle’s lights and sped away, according to a press release.

The deputy then turned on his lights and sirens, but the suspect driver eluded law enforcement for several miles. The driver traveled at high speeds up to 120 mph on northbound Interstate 25 before exiting at Mountain View…
