Loveland police K-9 Styng back on duty after suffering most serious injury of his career

LOVELAND, Colo. (KDVR) — New images released Wednesday show Loveland Police K-9 Styng back on duty after recovering from the most serious injury of five-year career.

Styng may be familiar to viewers from the takedown video released by Loveland police in November. That video shows the Belgian Malinois being deployed during the arrest of an armed suspect.

“So Styng has been with the department a little over five years. He’s worked specifically with his handler, Officer Croner,” said Loveland Police Public Officer Chris Padgett.
