The City of Longmont is notifying residents that public safety agencies will conduct scheduled drone test and training flights at Rogers Grove Open Space beginning later this month.
According to a city news release, the operations are planned between Feb. 9 and April 30 and will occur during daytime hours. Officials said the flights are part of ongoing training and evaluation tied to emergency response capabilities.
