A Monday morning house fire in Greely sent one person to a Denver-area hospital after a victim sustained second- and third-degree burns. The Greeley Tribune reports the Greeley Fire Department responded to the Chinook Winds Apartments, 6622 10th St. at about 2 a.m., and found one person who had serious burns and took them to North Colorado Medical Center. Doctors there determined they needed to be airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood because the patient had second- and third-degree burns and signs of smoke inhalation.
