DENVER (KDVR) — A vehicle with expired tags was caught going 44 miles per hour over the speed limit in Greeley, according to a social media post from the Greeley Police Department on Monday afternoon.
An officer saw the vehicle traveling on Highway 34 and clocked the driver at 109 miles per hour. The officer initiated a traffic stop when they noticed a second offense associated with the vehicle — tags that have been expired since 2023.

The police department said that either offense was bound to catch the eye of law enforcement, but the combination pushed it over the top.
