J.R. Crickets, Atlanta’s famous wing spot, will open its first Colorado location

If you’ve been wondering when you’ll get a taste of J.R. Crickets’ wings, the wait is nearly over.

Founded in Atlanta in 1982 by Paul Juliano, the chain has 17 locations across Georgia and Alabama, with Fort Collins set to welcome its first Colorado spot. The eatery is best known for New York-style Buffalo wings, inspired by Juliano’s hometown of Buffalo, New York.

The new location, next to King Soopers at 1015 S. Taft Road, will be run by Ian Juliano, Paul’s son, who lives locally and got his start at the original Midtown Atlanta spot…
