Man sentenced after teen thrown to ground for spilling water on woman at In-N-Out

DENVER (KDVR) — A Colorado man pleaded guilty after a viral video was released of a 15-year-old being thrown to the floor after spilling water on a woman at an In-N-Out Burger in Loveland in 2024.

On Monday, Lucas Kalisher pleaded guilty to attempt to commit assault in the second degree, according to the Colorado 8th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. This comes after a video was released in 2024 of a teen being thrown to the ground.

The Loveland Police Department said on Aug. 4, 2024, the teen reported that he and his two friends were splashing water on each other at the In-N-Out on Fall River Drive when a woman was accidentally splashed.

The teen went to apologize, then said a man with the woman grabbed the teen, put his hands around his neck, pulled him to the table and threw him to the floor. The man and woman left before the police arrived…
