LONGMONT, Colo. — The YMCA of Northern Colorado closed its Longmont fitness facility at noon on Friday, ending decades of service to roughly 3,000 members after years of financial challenges and a significant loss of federal funding, organization leaders said.
The Longmont location ceased fitness operations, though childcare programs will continue, according to YMCA officials. Memberships will end at that time.
