Turbine move to partially close northern Colorado highways

PLATTEVILLE, Colo. — Trucks carrying generators and turbines will lead to some highway closures in northern Colorado.

Xcel Energy said it will move equipment from Loveland to Platteville, impacting traffic for a short time on Interstate 25, U.S. Highway 287, and Colorado Highway 66. The I-25 Exit 243 at Longmont and Lyons will also have a closure.
