Spring and summer in Colorado not only mean getting outside for some sun and fun, but getting around construction zones. Fort Collins will have two road projects happening at the same time, on the same road from spring into summer.
What is Happening at Trilby Road and College Avenue in Fort Collins?
The ongoing College and Trilby Improvements project will be going until at least the end of September, 2026. The big $12-14 million project, which began in early 2026, is completely rebuilding that intersection with:
- Two left-turn lanes from College Avenue onto Trilby Road.
- Right-turn lanes in ALL directions.
- A wider Trilby Road approach to College Avenue from both the east and west
- Installing a new [permanent] traffic signal at Triangle Drive and College Avenue.
