The Monday morning commute in Northern Colorado is off to a rough start if you are traveling southbound on Interstate 25 to work in the Longmont or Denver Metro Areas, as a crash has closed the interstate.
Crash Closes Southbound Interstate 25 in Mead, Colorado
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, all southbound lanes of Interstate 25 are closed at Exit 245 to Colorado 119 due to the accident and safety concerns.
All traffic will have to exit at Weld County Road 34 due to the crash near the Colorado 66 exit. Currently, there is no estimated time as to when Southbound Interstate 25 will reopen. It is advised that you take precautions and take an alternate route to your destination.
