Loveland crews and tree specialists moved a 70-foot-tall spruce that topped onto North Washington Avenue on Thursday amid high winds. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, all of Northern Colorado was under a high wind warning and a red flag warning due to the warm weather and high winds that whipped through the region resulting in power outages, a small fire near Laporte and closure of Interstate 25.
