A group of Weld County truck operators and drivers were fired by Friday after striking earlier in the week over fair wages and a lack of transparency on how they are paid. According to the Greeley Tribune, about 60 truckers, both drivers and company operators, went on strike refusing to haul frac sand loads from facilities to active oil fields run by Halliburton, a worldwide service company for the oil and gas industry.
