GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – A Florida man will spend more than 150 years behind bars following his conviction on multiple child exploitation and attempted sexual assault charges.
On March 2, Weld County District Court Judge Audrey Galloway sentenced 49-year-old Joel Kaufman of Florida to 156 years-to-life in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
A Weld County jury found Kaufman guilty in December of 2025 on 30 counts of sexual exploitation of a child, two counts of attempted sexual assault on a child, two counts of internet sexual exploitation of a child, and two counts of enticement of a child…
