FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The days of free trips in the Interstate 25 express lanes between Fort Collins and Berthoud will soon come to an end.
Tolls will start in the express lanes on that stretch of I-25 starting April 7, Colorado Department of Transportation’s Northeast Region spokesperson Jared Fiel told the Coloradoan in February.
Tolling was first expected to start on this 19-mile section of the North I-25 Express Lanes Project in mid-summer of 2024, then the end of 2024, then the spring of 2025 and finally by the end of 2025…
