After half a century in Fort Collins, the former Book Ranch — a long-lived self described “adult emporium” across from Colorado State University — is no more.
That’s not news to any of you. The storied establishment was sold and closed last summer, and it’s sat empty on South College Avenue ever since. But now the developer who purchased it has given us a hint as to what it might become.
Developer Robin Bachelet told me she’s been working with the city’s planning department to determine the “highest and best use” for the former adult book store site, 730 S.
