6 arrested in Loveland after vehicle break-ins reported overnight Thursday

DENVER (KDVR) — Six individuals were taken into custody in Loveland overnight Thursday into Friday after officers responded to reports of vehicles being broken into near the 4300 block of Mountain Lion Drive.

The Loveland Police Department said Friday that arriving officers saw “multiple” people take off running, leading to a coordinated search effort that included a perimeter being put in place and a drone launch.

Six individuals were ultimately taken into custody thanks to “alert” residents and LPD’s patrol team and communication specialists, police said.

LPD said investigations are continuing Friday, including the possibility of “additional unreported incidents.”…
