90-Degree Weather Is Coming to Northern Colorado

The winter months in Northern Colorado have been so weird this year. Little to no snow, warm temperatures, and let’s not forget those crazy windstorms that shut off the power. Wild, right?

Northern Colorado Weather Has Been Unusually Warm

Well, it seems as if we may just skip spring altogether and hop straight into summer. It has been abnormally warm over the past few weeks with temperatures in the upper seventies, and on Wednesday, March 18, we hit a high of 82.

With temperatures reaching the mid-eighties, it’s almost as if Mother Nature wants us to immediately switch into shorts season. A high of 82 seems weird, but what is going to be even more weird is this Saturday.

90 Degrees in March? It Could Happen

The National Weather Service is forecasting an unseasonably warm day, and it could very well be Northern Colorado’s first occurrence of turning on the air conditioner. The official forecast for the Northern Colorado cities of Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley is calling for a high of 90 degrees. In the middle of March. What is happening?

While we cannot change the weather, we can take every opportunity we possibly can to enjoy the nice summer-like weather in the middle of March. This is not normal, but I am going to enjoy it…
