Driver caught going nearly 130 mph in a 55 mph zone in Greeley

DENVER (KDVR) — Police pulled over a driver going more than 70 mph over the speed limit in Greeley.

The Greeley Police Department said that on Thursday night, March 19, they caught someone going 128 mph in a 55 mph zone on Highway 34 and 65th Avenue. This is near the UCHealth Greeley Hospital.

“There is ZERO excuse for this kind of reckless driving, no matter if it’s day or night,” police said in a Facebook post.

Police said the driver’s tags had expired as well.
