Fort Collins weighs paid downtown parking for 2028 as debate grows

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — City officials in Fort Collins are considering a shift to paid on-street parking in Old Town for the first time in decades, a proposal drawing strong reactions as the city prepares to outline possible next steps as early as Tuesday.
