Windsor one step closer to new eastside King Soopers Marketplace

After some initial back and forth over the site of its second Windsor location, King Soopers appears to be moving full steam ahead with plans for a new grocery store on the east side of town.

Windsor Town Board unanimously approved the final major subdivision plat for the King Soopers-anchored Windsor Industrial Park on March 23, clearing another hurdle for the development of a 123,000-square-foot King Soopers Marketplace at the northeast corner of Hollister Lake Road and Colorado Highway 392. The board previously approved a major site plan for the grocery store March 9, and the town’s planning commission recommended approval of the final major subdivision March 18, according to town documents.
