Francesca’s two Northern Colorado stores will shutter alongside the rest of the clothing chain’s locations in the coming days, according to signage posted outside both shops.
Francesca’s, a Texas-based women’s fashion and accessories company, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Feb. 5, according to USA TODAY reporting. Shortly after, it announced widespread store-closing sales.
After no other qualified bids came in at auction following its bankruptcy filing, Francesca’s sold its intellectual property for $7 million to Stand Out Feel Good Inc., which owns Christian clothing retailer Altar’d State, according to Bloomberg Law News. Francesca’s stores inside Fort Collins’ Foothills mall and at Loveland’s Promenade Shops at Centerra both had “store closing” signs posted on March 27, as well as signs that read “Last 3 Days,” indicating they will be closing in three days…
