Starting in February, Berthoud residents and property owners began paying a little more for municipal water services. Utility bills increased 5% for water and 8% for wastewater.
“This is a routine process that all utilities have to go through,” Ken Matthews, director of water utilities for the Town of Berthoud, said. “Our rates here in Berthoud, even with this increase, are still below the average of our peers along the Front Range.”
