Suspect arrested after dozens report pellet gun shots targeting moving vehicles in Fort Collins

DENVER (KDVR) — A suspect was arrested Thursday in connection with a series of incidents of moving vehicles being the target of shots from a pellet gun in Fort Collins.

Fort Collins Police Services said in a press release Tuesday that it arrested Jamal Lohrius, 55, after a months-long investigation led investigators to execute a search warrant in the 300 block of South Shields Street last week.

Police said “multiple firearms and ammunition” were seized and Lohrius was arrested on the following charges:

  • Class 5 Felony – Criminal Mischief (1 count)
  • Class 2 Misdemeanor – Reckless Endangerment (12 counts)

The arrest came after a dozen incidents of vehicles being targeted with a pellet gun were reported. Police said the incidents caused over $15,000 in damage…
