Tree trimming work will detour traffic through central Fort Collins corridor
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Drivers traveling through central Fort Collins should plan for delays this weekend as a key stretch of College Avenue closes for maintenance work.
The southbound lanes of College Avenue will be fully closed on Saturday, April 4, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Mulberry Street and Laurel Street while crews trim trees above the roadway. The work is part of ongoing efforts to maintain safety along one of the city’s busiest corridors.
During the closure, all southbound traffic will be detoured onto Mason Street. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time, use alternate routes when possible, and stay alert for changing traffic patterns in the area…
