Softball Extends Winning Streak To 14 Games, Sweeping Colorado Mesa At Home

PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado State University Pueblo softball team delivered a statement weekend at the Rawlings Softball Complex, sweeping rival Colorado Mesa in dominant fashion to continue its surge atop the RMAC standings.

Even more impressively, the ThunderWolves extended their winning streak to 14 consecutive games—the longest in program history—surpassing the previous mark of 11. With the sweep, the Pack have also created significant separation in the conference race, now holding a six-game lead over third place in the RMAC.

In the opening game of Friday’s doubleheader, the ThunderWolves leaned on timely hitting and a composed effort in the circle from McKenna James to secure a 4-2 victory.

After three scoreless innings on both sides, CSU Pueblo broke through in the bottom of the fourth with a decisive four-run frame.
