Colorado State’s robot fleet boosts revenue and gets smarter with every delivery

Three members of the foodservice team at Colorado State University in Fort Collins are zipping around the campus and adding a sizeable amount of revenue each month.

The team members are robots and they deliver food to students, faculty and staff within the campus from Ingersoll Market, a campus mini market.

Revenue from the deliveries totaled $11,400 for the first six weeks they were in operation, or approximately $2,000 per week, and they were all new sales, says Patrick St. Clair, senior associate director, business and retail services…
