Estes Park Police have issued arrest warrants for Paul Todd Howarth, 72, in connection to a fire at the Expedition Lodge in Estes Park in February.
Officers from the Estes Park Police Department, firefighters from the Estes Valley Fire Protection District, assisted by the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and the Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District, and deputies from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 8:44 p.m. Feb. 27 to a fire at the lodge, and arrived to find heavy smoke and an active fire in the northwest wing of the hotel, according to a news release from the Town of Estes Park.
