BERTHOUD, Colo. (KDVR) — Drivers on Interstate 25 between Berthoud and Fort Collins are now facing fines for a move some didn’t realize could cost them money.
Starting May 7, Colorado is officially enforcing express lane rules after a 30-day grace period during which more than 3,500 notices were issued to drivers crossing in and out of the double solid lines illegally.
CDOT says the system has already proven successful in other parts of the state, first on the I-70 mountain corridor, before expanding statewide
