Mandatory evacuations underway near reservoir due to new wildfire in Colorado

A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for Sedona Hills in the Loveland area due to a wildfire. This is located northeast of Carter Lake.

A first report about the mandatory evacuations was published by Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority at 3:19 p.m. on May 11. Residents of the Sedona Hills are have been told to leave immediately for their safety.

Per a report from Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, multi-mission aircraft and other aviation have been requested to assist local ground resources. The Lone Pine suppresion module was also enroute to the scene, at last report…
