Estes Park is hosting a free, convenient, one-day paint drop-off and giveaway event through PaintCare on Saturday, June 13 at Ace Hardware of Estes Park. Households and businesses in the area can easily drop off unused paint for recycling or pick up leftover paint in good condition at no cost.
“Most people do not know what to do with leftover paint, so it ends up collecting dust in a basement or storage space,” said Sonya Hansen, PaintCare Colorado Program Manager. “By dropping off leftover paint at the event or year-round at any of our 200+ drop-off sites across Colorado, it can be reused, recycled, or put to another beneficial use.”
Through PaintCare’s PaintShare™ program, leftover paint in good condition that is dropped off at this event will be made immediately available to the public for free.
