Greeley’s Gold Hill Pipeline Project Awarded Community-directed Spending Grant

The City of Greeley is set to receive an $8,685,000 federal FEMA matching grant for the Gold Hill Pipeline Project.

The Gold Hill Pipeline, located west of Highway 257, will help Greeley provide safe, reliable water during emergencies, natural disasters and planned maintenance. It will also help meet future water needs as the city continues to grow.

The project is fully designed and permitted, with a total cost of about $20 million. A previous federal grant was canceled when FEMA ended the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program in 2025. U.S. Rep.
