Here is the official statement just issued by Palm Beach County:
>>The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) will be using licensed contractors to perform critical infrastructure upgrades, resulting in a temporary closure of northbound Lyons Road between New England Boulevard and Century Village Boulevard in Boca Raton.
Due to weather conditions and to ease traffic in the area, work originally scheduled to begin on Friday, May 29, 2026, has now been rescheduled to begin on Friday, June 5, 2026. This northbound Lyons Road closure in the Century Village area is now scheduled to begin on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., and is scheduled to be completed on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 a.m…
