Five injured after rooftop structure partially collapses at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (CBS12) — Five people were injured Saturday after a structure partially collapsed at a rooftop club at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Officers with the Seminole Police Department say a sudden gust of wind struck a structure in the outdoor area of the DAER Club, located on the roof of the casino, causing it to partially collapse.

Officials told CBS Miami that five people who were inside the structure at the time were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries…
