Boca Raton’s Ashlee Perry Nabbed After Failing To Appear In Court

Here’s How You Turn An Alleged Coffee Maker Theft Into A Big Deal.

Here’s the court chronology: Perry and a second person were accused of lifting a coffee maker from a Walmart in Boynton Beach in early May. The criminal mastermind was captured on surveillance video and allegedly followed by an undercover store loss prevention officer as they left the store and walked towards the Boynton Beach Mall.

A Boynton Beach Police Officer called to investigate apparently knew — or knew of — Perry and her alleged accomplice due to another alleged theft at Target. He found them in Texas Roadhouse and detained Perry — later placing her under arrest. She was charged with Petit Theft, booked into jail, and later released. She was told to appear in court in early June.

But she didn’t. Her case was called. She was nowhere to be found. So the judge did what judges do: he issued a warrant for her arrest. And police executed that warrant. Ashlee Perry of Ruffian Way in Boca Raton was taken into custody late Tuesday by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office and booked into jail, where she is now being on $2,000 bond.
