WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A Boca Raton man is facing felony charges after deputies said he stole a $2,500 gold chain from a jewelry counter at the Sunshine Flea Market in West Palm Beach, then sold it to a pawn shop the next day.
Jorge Luis Ruiz Campino is charged with dealing in stolen property, false verification of ownership to a secondhand dealer and grand theft of property valued between $750 and $5,000, according to a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit.
Deputies said the theft happened Nov. 29, 2025, at the Sunshine Flea Market, located at 1941 S. Military Trail. The victim told investigators a man wearing a green Air Jordan hooded sweatshirt and black sunglasses on his head approached his counter and asked to see a 14-karat gold chain…
