A Broward man was sentenced to more than 26 years in prison for ordering a chauffeur to “drive or be killed” at gunpoint after repeatedly shooting another woman, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Bakari Jahiem Dixson, 24, of West Park, was sentenced to 319 months by a federal judge after a jury found him guilty in March of kidnapping, carjacking and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida said in a Tuesday statement.
