HOLLYWOOD, FL – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood will open a new restaurant later this year, developed in partnership with Major Food Group (MFG), the New York-based hospitality company behind Carbone, Torrisi, and ZZ’s Club. The new restaurant will replace Cipresso, which closed on Sunday, July 19, after seven years of operation at the property.
Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s collaboration with MFG dates to a 2023 residency, in which MFG’s Carbone concept operated at Cipresso during the introduction of craps, roulette, and sports betting at Seminole Gaming properties in Florida. In 2024, Hard Rock International and MFG expanded the arrangement into a broader partnership to develop dining concepts across Hard Rock’s global portfolio.
“Major Food Group has an extraordinary ability to create restaurants that become destinations in their own right,” said Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming. “Bringing an exclusive MFG concept to our resort is an exciting next step in our partnership and reflects our continued investment in world-class dining and hospitality. We look forward to sharing what we are creating together later this year.”…
