Two-Tower, 43-Story ‘Ombelle’ Starts Construction at 316 NE 4th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL

A high-rise mixed-use project has started construction in Fort Lauderdale.

Ombelle is slated to feature two 43-story towers that will feature a combined 754 condos, with floorplans spanning studio to three-bedroom models. Residences will come outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows and various modern finishings. Additionally, residents would have access to more than 100,000 square feet of communal amenities, which include (but aren’t limited to) a swimming pool, business center, and multiple sports courts.

Additional features of Ombelle include more than 11,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, along with a 35,000-square-foot Equinox gym. There will also be 895 parking spots, a nearly four percent reduction from the originally planned 932 spaces.

Dependable Equities is the developer. The New York City-based firm purchased Ombelle’s two-acre build site for $27 million in 2021; the firm intends to spend more than $50 million to fund its two-tower project. The developer is also doubling as the general contractor…
