Florida Couple Ran $1.1M Black Market Baby Formula Ring Out Of Their Home, Officials Say

Two Lake Worth residents were arrested for allegedly running a large-scale theft operation that bought and resold stolen baby formula across multiple Florida counties, bringing in more than $1.1 million in sales, authorities announced.

Mohammed Alsaidi, 59, and Zeina Abdul-Hassan Sou Zabib, 49, were taken into custody following a 15-month joint investigation led by the Florida Attorney General’s Special Investigative Retail Theft Task Force and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
