While they don’t usually make the news, crimes related to child endangerment are more common than most would think. The perfect example of this happened on Friday, September 18, when the police reportedly found a 1-year-old child inside a parked car at a shopping plaza in Miami Gardens, Florida.
As the authorities discovered later, the child was the daughter of 22-year-old Janina Joseph. She was missing from the scene when someone called the police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue around 7:55 PM after finding the car with the child alone in the vehicle. Fire-rescue personnel opened the car and checked on the girl first, and she was reportedly in good health.
The authorities naturally started searching for the child’s parents, but could not find anyone around the parking lot who knew her. They eventually located Joseph upstairs inside a beauty salon. According to the authorities, she was doing her hair in the beauty salon…
