A Miami woman was arrested after a pedestrian died early Saturday in a hit-and-run crash, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m., deputies went to investigate a reported hit-and-run with an injured person in Dania Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. They found a man, who was not identified by authorities, lying in the road near the 200 block of Sheridan Street. He died on scene.
According to investigators, he was crossing the street when he was hit by a Hyundai Sonata, the statement said. The driver fled in an unknown direction, but detectives identified the vehicle by parts that were left on the road after the crash…
