FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A report of a woman being assaulted and pushed into a car at a Fort Pierce hotel led deputies to a Broward County man wanted in four felony probation cases, authorities said.
Deputies say they were called to the Best Western in the 7900 block of South U.S. Highway 1 around 11:20 p.m. Friday after a witness reported seeing a man assault a woman, push her into a vehicle, and drive away, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reportedly confirmed a battery had occurred and identified the suspect as 37-year-old Guyrson Maddy of Broward County. A records check found an active warrant for probation violations in four separate felony cases dating from 2017 to 2025…
