The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has pledged $10 million to buy a La Quinta hotel in Coral Springs and turn it into permanent housing for veterans.
The city’s Planning and Zoning Board will hear a proposal at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, November 9, to convert the 1980s-era La Quinta Inn & Suites in Coral Springs, located at 3701 North University Drive, north of Sample Road, into a 100-unit community that will become a Veteran Village for honorably discharged men and women.
