Two people killed in small plane crash in Broward County

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) – Two people died when a plan crashed into the Everglades, and now, local and federal officials are trying to determine what happened. In an update, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office recounted its response after county dispatchers learned of a missing Cessna 172 that took off the night before from Perry Airport. The call came around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, about sixteen hours after the single-engine plane took off.
