LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Authorities are still on the hunt for a man who managed to escape from police after being handcuffed in Lauderhill last month. Gerald Pendergrass, 31, managed to escape while police were trying to take him into custody on an outstanding aggravated retail theft warrant originating from Palm Beach County back on Dec. 28, according to investigators.
