VIDEO: Tequila thief pepper-sprays Florida Walgreens cashier, police say

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Police said a woman went into a Florida Walgreens, stole some tequila and then pepper-sprayed a cashier.

According to the North Miami Beach Police Department, the woman walked into the store on Jan. 11 and stole a bottle of Don Julio Tequila. Then she bolted out of the Walgreens, dropping her phone in the process.

An hour later, the woman returned to the store and asked the cashier about her phone. That’s when she “became enraged” and pepper-sprayed the employee. Then she ran out of the store again, according to police.
